1968
Pontiac GTO Ram Air IV
The Ram Air IV GTO used the most aggressive factory engine option available — forged internals, round-port heads, and an aggressive camshaft that made it rough at idle but explosive at high rpm. While nominally rated at 370 hp (gross), actual output was closer to 350 hp net, making it one of the quickest factory cars of 1968.
