🔧 Volvo D13 Diesel Engine
Volvo's D13 is a 12.8-litre inline-six diesel engine that powers the majority of Volvo FH and FM trucks globally. In European spec it produces up to 540 hp with turbo compound; in North American (D13) spec up to 500 hp. The D13 is Volvo's answer to the Cummins/Detroit hegemony in North America — an in-house engine that matches the ISX15 in power density while using Volvo's own common-rail injection and SCR aftertreatment.
