Freightliner Century Class
The Century Class replaced the FLB with more aerodynamic styling while retaining Freightliner's traditional operator-focused cab design. Its optional Detroit Diesel Series 60 DDEC IV with electronic engine management reduced fuel consumption significantly, and the wide 72" raised-roof sleeper made cross-country driving more comfortable.
