Bajaj Auto Chetak (Classic)
The Bajaj Chetak is the most iconic Indian vehicle of any kind. Based on the Vespa Sprint, the Chetak was manufactured in India under Piaggio licence from 1972 and became the aspirational purchase for India's middle class — a 3–5 year waiting list was normal in the 1980s. The phrase "hamara Bajaj" (our Bajaj) defined a generation. Over 6 crore (60 million) units sold.
