The Metzeler Tourance Next 2 is the Michelin A41's primary European competitor, specified by BMW on the R1250GS in some markets and by Ducati on the Multistrada V4 S. Where Bridgestone dominates the Japanese and North American adventure bike OEM channel, Metzeler (a Pirelli brand since 1986) holds the European adventure bike OEM channel. The Tourance Next 2 uses a new silica compound that improves wet traction by 15% over the original Tourance Next, and its reinforced sidewall carcass tolerates off-road inflation pressures without tread delamination.
