🔧 IHI VF-Series Turbocharger
IHI's VF-series turbos (VF34, VF36, VF38, VF48, VF52) are the OEM turbos for every Subaru WRX and STI from 1994 to the present. The progressive VF naming reflects increasing flow capacity as engine performance increased through each generation. Subaru's exclusive relationship with IHI means the same Japanese supplier's turbocharger family serves over two decades of all-wheel-drive performance models, making every VF-series a genuinely shared cross-generation component.
