Freightliner Cascadia Evolution
The Cascadia Evolution used aero-improved fairings and Detroit Diesel's DD15 engine with SCR aftertreatment to achieve the best fuel economy in its class. Its Detroit Connect telematics and predictive cruise control used GPS topography data to manage engine torque — reducing fuel consumption by a further 3-5% on typical routes.
