Jeep Wrangler TJ
The TJ Wrangler replaced the leaf-spring front suspension of the YJ with coil springs — the single most significant improvement in Wrangler history. The coil springs gave 35% more wheel travel for off-road use while the new Dana 44 rear axle offered greater strength. The 4.0L inline-six remains one of the great off-road engines.
