Honda Motorcycles Gold Wing GL1000
Honda's first Gold Wing used a horizontally opposed water-cooled flat-four — unprecedented in a production motorcycle — delivering a low centre of gravity and exceptional refinement. Its smooth 80 hp and shaft drive made it immediately the benchmark long-distance touring motorcycle, starting a lineage that continues today.
