Lexus GS 400
The second-generation GS 400 used a new 4.0-litre 1UZ-FE V8 in a body with sharper styling than its predecessor, directly targeting BMW's 5 Series M sport specification. Its 300 hp, 4-wheel active control suspension, and Vehicle Stability Control — among the first production applications — made it a credible technical choice over German rivals.
