🔧 Garrett T3 Turbocharger
The Garrett T3 became the definitive turbine for European performance cars of the 1980s. It was specified by Ford for the Sierra RS Cosworth and RS200, by Volvo for the 240 Turbo, and by Saab for the 900 Turbo. Its cast-iron turbine housing, journal-bearing cartridge, and 0.48-stage compressor map suited the 2.0–2.3L four-cylinder displacements across all four vehicles. The same turbocharger unit was also used in motorsport preparation of these cars.
