🔧 Ford Coyote 5.0L Ti-VCT V8
Ford's Coyote 5.0L V8, introduced in 2011, replaced the Three-Valve 4.6L as the standard Mustang and F-150 performance engine. Its Twin Independent Variable Camshaft Timing (Ti-VCT) adjusts both intake and exhaust cam timing continuously, allowing 412 hp while meeting emissions standards. The same engine powers the F-150 pick-up and is available in the F-350 Super Duty, making the Coyote one of the few modern V8s to cross from sports car to full-size truck duty in the same displacement.
