⚡ Bosch W7DC Spark Plug
The Bosch W7DC was the standard spark plug for European air-cooled engines from the 1950s through the 1980s. Volkswagen Beetle, Porsche 356A, and the early 911 all specified the W7DC. The "W" denotes a 14 mm thread diameter with a 21 mm hexagon, the "7" is heat range (one step cooler than W6DC), and "DC" indicates a 12 mm reach with a copper core electrode. The interchangeability of Bosch W-series plugs across VW, Porsche, and Mercedes air-cooled engines meant mechanics could stock a single part for multiple vehicles.
