🪑 Recaro Sportster CS Racing Seat
Recaro's Sportster CS became the default race-homologated fixed-back bucket seat for factory performance cars in Europe and Japan throughout the 1990s and 2000s. BMW specified it in the E30 M3 and as an option in the E46 M3; Subaru fitted it in the STI GC8 RA and STI sti-v7 Type R; Honda used it in the Civic Type R EK9; Mitsubishi in the Lancer Evo VI TME; Alfa Romeo in the Giulia Quadrifoglio. The Sportster CS's FIA 8855-1999 homologation and consistent side-bolster geometry means it fits into five competing manufacturers' track performance cars without modification.
