Nissan Patrol GR (Y61)
The Y61 Patrol GR was Nissan's mature, long-wheelbase 4×4 — a direct competitor to the Land Cruiser 80. Its 4.2L TD42 turbodiesel produced 145 hp and 380 Nm; its five-link rear coil-spring suspension gave a comfortable ride while maintaining the solid axles required for serious off-road work. Still in production in some markets as of 2024.
