Nissan Patrol FG160 (MQ)
The MQ Patrol brought the long-wheelbase format to Nissan's off-road lineup. Its SD33 diesel — a 3.2L naturally aspirated 6-cylinder — was renowned for durability in mining, military, and pastoral applications. Australian Outback stations used the MQ in preference to the Land Cruiser for its lower gearing and robustness.
