🔩 KYB GAS-A-JUST Gas-Pressure Shock Absorber
KYB's GAS-A-JUST is a monotube gas-pressure shock absorber produced as OEM equipment on Japanese high-performance vehicles. The monotube design keeps gas (nitrogen) and oil separated by a floating piston, preventing aeration that causes fade. Toyota specified KYB GAS-A-JUST units on the Supra A80 MkIV; Nissan fitted them to the Skyline GT-R R32/R33; Mazda used KYB on the RX-7 FD. All three are Japanese sports car icons from the same era, and all three used the same KYB supplier to provide their corner-damping hardware.
