BMW Motorrad R nineT
BMW's heritage classic used the 110-hp air-cooled R1200 boxer in a stripped, retro-inspired chassis. Designed for café racer and scrambler customisation with bolt-on subframe points, the R nineT sparked a wave of BMW custom builds and proved the heritage segment was commercially viable.
