Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost
The Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost was the car that made the company's reputation permanent. A 6,145 cc inline-six drove all but silently — a motoring correspondent famously described it as "the best car in the world" after it completed 27,000 km of continuous motoring with almost no mechanical attention. The name "Silver Ghost" was earned.
