🔩 Öhlins DFV Double Flowing Valve Coilover

The Öhlins DFV (Double Flowing Valve) coilover features two valves operating simultaneously in both compression and rebound — a technology derived directly from Formula 1 suspension. It was the first performance coilover to separate high-speed and low-speed damping circuits within a single monotube shock body. Subaru specified the DFV as standard on the WRX STI RA (Type RA — Race Adapted) GC8 from 1997; Mitsubishi fitted it to the Lancer Evo VI Tommi Mäkinen Edition as the factory suspension choice.
