🔧 Mitsubishi 4G63T Turbocharged Engine
The Mitsubishi 4G63T is a 2.0-litre turbocharged inline-four that powered the Lancer Evolution from 1992 to 2007, the Eclipse GSX, and the Galant VR-4. Its iron block, aluminium head, and Mitsubishi Turbocharger Engineering (MTE) TD05 or TD05H turbocharger made it the most rally-proven Japanese performance engine of its era. The 4G63T also underpins the Dodge/Chrysler Eclipse and Eagle Talon sold in North America — a genuine cross-continent shared powertrain between Japanese engineering and American dealerships.
