⭕ Pirelli Scorpion Trail S MTB Tyre
Pirelli re-entered the bicycle tyre market in 2017 with the Scorpion range, targeting the premium MTB OEM segment occupied by Maxxis and Schwalbe. Orbea became Pirelli's flagship OEM partner, specifying Scorpion Trail S as standard on the Rallon M10 and Wild M10. The "S" compound is Pirelli's hardest Scorpion compound — optimised for dry, hard-pack trail conditions where the harder rubber provides lower rolling resistance and longer mileage. Pirelli's experience from motorcycle tyres informed the Scorpion's dual-compound construction, providing a harder centre for efficiency and softer shoulders for cornering confidence.
