DT Swiss supplies the HX 1501 Spline 30 as OEM to several enduro bike manufacturers. Its 30 mm internal rim width suits 2.4–2.6-inch enduro tyres, and the Spline 30 hub body uses DT Swiss's 36-tooth Ratchet EXP system for 10° engagement angle — faster than the standard 36t Ratchet but more reliable than ultra-fine-tooth competitors. Scott specifies HX 1501 on the Genius 900; Merida uses the DT Swiss EX 1700 (the steel hub sibling) on the One-Sixty; both wheels share the same DT Swiss 350 hub internals and can be serviced with the same tool and grease.
