🔧 Mitsubishi 4G63T Turbocharged Inline-Four
The Mitsubishi 4G63T is the most decorated rally engine in history — it powered the Lancer Evo to six consecutive World Rally Championship manufacturers' titles. Its 2.0-litre DOHC inline-four with closed-deck block is famous for both its strength at high boost and its tractability on road. The same engine served the first-generation Eclipse GSX (1990), the Galant VR-4 (1987–1993), and every Lancer Evolution from Evo I through IX. Bore, stroke, block deck height, and cylinder head bolt pattern are unchanged across 20 years of production.
