⚙️ Borg-Warner Super T-10 4-Speed Manual Gearbox
The Borg-Warner Super T-10 was the performance 4-speed manual gearbox of choice for GM's muscle car division, used when Muncie allocation couldn't meet demand or when a specific ratio spread was required. Used in the Corvette C2, GTO, Camaro Z/28, and Trans Am, the Super T-10's aluminium case and synchro ring design were identical across all applications — Pontiac, Chevrolet, and Buick all used the same Borg-Warner gearbox with only the tailshaft housing varying per application. Its close-ratio option (2.52 first gear) was preferred for road racing.
