🔄 SRAM GX Eagle AXS 12-Speed Wireless MTB Drivetrain
SRAM GX Eagle AXS makes wireless electronic shifting available on mid-range trail bikes in the $3,000–$5,000 price bracket — significantly below the XX1 Eagle AXS or Force AXS tier. Its plastic-body derailleur and aluminium cassette (rather than XX1's carbon) keep cost down while using the identical AXS wireless protocol and battery system. Trek Fuel EX 9.8, Giant Trance 1, and Orbea Oiz M-Team in some build specs use GX Eagle AXS, making it the volume-tier entry into wireless electronic mountain biking. The same Eagle control app and wireless protocol is shared with XX1 and X01, enabling cross-tier firmware updates.
