ATE Type 200 / Teves FN Brake Caliper

The ATE (Alfred Teves) Teves FN single- and twin-piston sliding caliper was the dominant OEM European brake caliper from the 1970s through the 1990s. Porsche used ATE Type 200 calipers on the 944 series; Ford Sierra RS Cosworth used ATE on all four corners; the Audi Quattro UR used ATE front brakes. The universality of the ATE caliper meant brake pads, seal kits, and sliding pins were often identical between models from three different manufacturers. Continental acquired Teves/ATE and continues to supply these calipers as OEM and aftermarket service parts.
