Renault M5Pt Turbocharged Engine

The Renault M5Pt is a 1.8-litre turbocharged inline-four co-developed by Renault Sport and Alpine for the reborn A110 and Mégane RS Trophy. Producing 300 hp in Trophy spec, it is mounted mid-rear in the A110 and front-transverse in the Mégane — a rare example of a performance engine adapted for two completely different vehicle architectures while retaining the same core specification.
