⚙️ Ford C6 Heavy-Duty Automatic
The Ford C6 was the heavy-duty automatic for big-block Fords from 1966 to 1996. Used behind the 428 Cobra Jet, 429 Super Cobra Jet, and 460 V8 engines, it handled enormous torque and became the default transmission for drag racing muscle Fords. The C6 was also used in medium and heavy-duty trucks, and remains popular for its simplicity and durability.
