⭕ Continental Mountain King 3 MTB Tyre
Continental Mountain King 3 is the flagship XC/trail tyre from Continental's MTB range, commonly specified OEM on European trail and XC bikes from Scott, Merida, and BMC. Its Progressive Spike tread design places lower-profile knobs at the centre (for rolling speed) transitioning to taller edge knobs (for cornering grip), using Continental's BlackChili compound for dry-condition traction. The Mountain King 3 is also available in ProTection Apex (reinforced sidewall) and RaceSport (lightest casing) variants — BMC Fourstroke uses RaceSport; Scott Scale uses ProTection Apex.
