🔧 VW/Audi 1.8T EA113 Turbo I4
The 1.8T EA113 is one of the most significant turbocharged four-cylinders ever built. Used across the Volkswagen Group from 1996 to 2006 in Golf IV GTI, Golf R32, Passat B5, Audi A4 B5/B6, Audi TT 1.8T, Skoda Octavia vRS, SEAT Leon Cupra, and New Beetle Turbo. It produced between 150 and 225 hp depending on tune and was the engine that democratised turbocharged performance in Europe.
