💡 Lucas 16ACR Alternator
The Lucas 16ACR alternator was standard fit across the majority of British cars produced from 1968 to 1992. It powered the Triumph TR6, MGB GT, Jaguar E-Type Series 3, Land Rover Series II/III, and Austin-Healey 3000. Its compact design and simple brush-type excitation earned it a reputation for reliability when correctly earthed — and equally for failing when poorly installed.
