⛽ Amal Concentric Mk1 Carburettor
The Amal Concentric Mk1, launched in 1967, standardised fuel delivery across British motorcycles for 15 years. Triumph, BSA, Norton, and Royal Enfield all specified the same Amal — the same float bowl, needle jet, and choke assembly served the Triumph Bonneville, the Royal Enfield Bullet, and the Royal Enfield Constellation. This was the first formal parts-sharing agreement between competing British manufacturers, driven by Amal's position as the only domestic supplier capable of the required precision manufacturing.
