The fifth-generation Actros eliminated conventional door mirrors entirely — replacing them with Mercedes' MirrorCam system, using cameras and interior screens. The 630-hp OM473 engine with Predictive Powertrain Control used GPS to pre-select optimal gears on hills, reducing fuel consumption by up to 5%.
