MAN Truck & Bus TGX 680 D38
MAN's TGX flagship used the D38 V8 engine producing 680 hp and 3,000 Nm — the maximum then permitted under EU regulations without a special dispensation. The MAN EfficientLine package reduced fuel consumption by 6-8% through optimised aerodynamics, longer rear overhang, and predictive cruise control.
