Ford Trucks F-250 Power Stroke
The 7.3-litre International Power Stroke turbodiesel in the F-250 transformed the heavy-duty pickup segment. Its 215 hp and 620 Nm of torque (later increased to 275 hp) gave contractors, horse haulers, and fifth-wheel tower a capable everyday driver with 9,500 kg towing capacity that no gasoline V8 could match.
