The third-generation Colorado ZR2 is GM's most capable production truck on a per-dollar basis. Multimatic DSSV (Dynamic Suspension Spool Valve) dampers — the same technology used in the Chevrolet Corvette C8 — replace conventional shock absorbers, providing 27 mm more suspension travel than the non-ZR2. Front and rear electronic lockers and 28.5 cm ground clearance complete the package.
