Kawasaki GPZ900R
The GPZ900R (Ninja in the US) was the first truly modern motorcycle — liquid-cooled DOHC inline-four with 16 valves, a chassis low enough to shed 10 kg versus the Z1000, and a top speed of 249 km/h. Immortalised by Tom Cruise in Top Gun (1986), the Ninja became one of the most recognisable motorcycles in history.
