Indian Motorcycle Chief
The Indian Chief became the most iconic American motorcycle of the 1920s and 1930s — a 1,000 cc (later 1,200 cc) V-twin with flowing fenders, a deeply valanced front fender, and an air of romantic freedom. Heavily used by US police forces and the military, the Chief's design influenced the entire American cruiser category.
