The Yamaha Aerox 155 is the first 155cc scooter with a Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) system — essentially variable valve timing for a scooter. VVA switches between two cam profiles at 6,000 rpm, improving low-end torque and high-rpm power simultaneously. With ABS and traction control standard, the Aerox is the most technically advanced mass-market scooter in Southeast Asia.
