Volkswagen Corrado VR6
The Corrado VR6 combined sleek Karmann bodywork with Volkswagen's innovative narrow-angle VR6 engine — a six-cylinder barely wider than an inline-four. Its retractable rear spoiler deployed automatically at speed and its 190-hp engine made it one of the quickest front-wheel-drive cars of the early 1990s.
