Peugeot 504 Safari
The Peugeot 504 Safari was the African continent's car — its twin trailing-arm rear suspension, diesel engine options, and enormous ground clearance made it the vehicle of choice for missionaries, aid workers, and African governments. Safari Rally wins in 1975, 1976, and 1977 proved it could cope with the most brutal conditions.
