Jaguar Mk 2 3.8
The Jaguar Mk 2 3.8 was the world's fastest production sedan of 1959, using the 220-hp twin-cam 3.8-litre XK engine in a compact body. Armed robbers used it to escape police Mk 1 Jaguars (themselves fast), before British police forces were forced to acquire Mk 2s of their own to keep up.
