Aston Martin V8 (Series 1)
Aston Martin's shift to a 5.3-litre all-aluminium V8 transformed the DBS into one of the fastest production cars in the world. The AM V8 produced 315 hp in standard form and could exceed 260 km/h — at the time a staggering achievement for a grand tourer that could also carry luggage and passengers in comfort.
