Trek Trek 400
Trek's first production road bike built in their Wisconsin facility, the Model 400 used Reynolds 531 butted tubing hand-brazed by American craftsmen. Its chromoly steel construction, Shimano 600 components, and $400 price tag launched Trek as a serious American road bike manufacturer.
