🔧 Toyota 1UZ-FE V8 Engine
The Toyota 1UZ-FE is a 4.0-litre all-aluminium quad-cam V8 that debuted in the 1989 Lexus LS400 and went on to power the SC400, GS400, Toyota Soarer, Century, and Land Cruiser Cygnus. It was the first fully aluminium V8 produced in Japan, and its smooth power delivery and exceptional reliability made it the benchmark for Japanese luxury cars through the 1990s. The same engine block is shared across all three flagship Lexus nameplates.
